New Year @ WOEC!

The girls have started the New Year, by really pushing themselves to the Max!

The term started by the group conquering their fears by heading down into a Sea Cave on Portland, using a Caving ladder.  It was not an easy task with water flowing through the cave at the bottom, but the girls (and Becki) braved the nerves and made very good attempts and going down as far as they could.

Then, this week the group faced another challenge……. a 4 1/2 mile walk upto Hardy’s Monument, making the most of the fabulous views (it was even clear enough to see the Isle of White)!  Some would call it a gentle stroll, others, a gruelling hike!  Despite the (many) Ups and downs, we made it back to the minibus……… A success all round!!

Keep it up girls!  🙂

Are you seriously telling me you went down that little ladder to slosh around in a cave?

    Bravery’s not the word.

Gruelling hike definitely strikes a chord with me – you’re amazing, (or daft) the lot of you.

    Well done!!!!!!!!!!
