Mackintosh: Spray and Digital Art

The Art studio was buzzing with activity and spray cans today. Bronwyn, James, Carl, Devon, Dylan and Jay all worked on stencil art pieces. Esme, Emily S, Chelsea and Jess all looked at Charles Rennie Mackintosh and used his “White Cockade” and “Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts” poster as inspiration for some beautiful spray and digital art.

The Image on the left is spray art, 1000mmx2000mm, the two at the top are digital.

Great work from eveyone involved, thank you.

well this is where my Ellie is taking her art degree and her part time job is to show people round the art school and talk about Charles Rennie. It’s fantastic….very cheap to fly to Glasgow from Bournemouth, last time it was £1 one way….and full of fantastic stimulating ideas like the work you’ve done. Well done
