Equality Day

On Tuesday we had an Equality Day, focussing on relationships and gender issues as well as considering our friendships and celebrating youth.

In the afternoon we made co-operative art by combining our talents to make a series of paintings to promote; Liberty Equality Freedom and Unity.

It was a lot of fun and good to see some people in the Art studio that don’t usually join us, thank you.

A big thanks to, Emily S, Alex, Luke, Natalie, Frank, Kenny, Becky, Chris and Jane.

Staff and students work together and encouraged and helped each other to complete the task and I think it’s fair to say we all had a great day. Thanks to all involved for making it such a pleasant and productive afternoon, thanks also to Emily C for adding some finishing touches on Thursday, sorry you weren’t there for the day, but the work experience sounded well worth it.

I think these should go in the new kitchen, it would be a nice permanent home for them and a reminder as we share time and food together again.

    What do you think?
