Digital Quilting

emily-quiltEmily S joined the photography group today, for a taster session, and caught up in a flash. She was given a crash course by Esme and Emily C, and was soon up and running. Today we looked at colouring in  areas of an image with photographs to create amazing patterns. We used a quilt template and fractal images to make a 21st century image from an age old tradition.

The work on the left is Emily S’s first piece of digital art. Well done Em!!!!!

Big thanks to the two tutors Es and Em.

If anyone else wants to try their hand at photography or digital art, talk to Ian or Phil.
