Cycling from Rylands

The Cycling group had another great afternoon out in the wet and wild today. We set off from Rylands farm at Boys Hill, went up to Bishops Caundle, had lunch and flew down the hill, see the elevation profile, and passed through the edge of Holwell, stopping for a photo at the oldest postbox in the UK, and returning to Rylands.

We set out thinking it was an OK route when you dont want to go too far from home, and discovered a beautiful area of countryside that deserves further exploration. WE WILL RETURN!!

Is this really in Holwell? Sure it’s not Lilliput? Or was the Post Office a bit short-staffed in Victorian times?
