Billy Elliot

On Thursday 18th of November Jez and Becky took a group up to London to see

the fabulous performance of Billy Elliot.

The stage production is so much better than the film version we all felt.

The singing, dancing and choreography of thirty or more people dance

fighting across stage has to be seen to be believed!

At points in the show it’s very hard not to cry..especially when Billy’s

mum’s ghost comes back to sing to him about how proud she is to have known

At least two of the group cried at four separate parts in the play. Luckily

there are lots of very funny moments to lighten the atmosphere.

To cap it all Covent Garden had their Christmas decorations up and a very

very yummy open air food market. We just had to sample their wares.

A brilliant day. We recommend it.
