Glastonbury Cycle Ride

Fridays cycle ride took us around the Somerset levels near Glastonbury. After a little bit of road work we soon found our way onto the old railway line, now a Sustrans cycle path, and into the Ham Wall Nature reserve. A stop off at ‘Noahs Hide’ for lunch and some bird spotting. Loads of wetland birds and a river full of fish. Apparently at the moment they have approx 50,000 starlings that come home to roost at dusk.
